Our story · Three generations

The story really begins with my mother.

She had an eye for the same things I still love today: color, personality, and making even the everyday feel a little more special. One of my favorite photographs of her was taken years ago on the golf course, standing beside the sweetest powder-blue golf cart with a scalloped canopy.

A little family history, a lot of personality

Where it began

I’ve always loved that photograph.

There was something about that cart. It was charming. It was fun. It had personality. And every time I looked at it, I was reminded that golf carts didn’t always have to blend into the background.

I think some of that sense of style was passed down to me.

A little more personality

I’ve always loved design and the little details that can completely change the way something feels. And living here on the Gulf Coast, where golf carts are simply part of everyday life, I started looking at them a little differently.

We take them to the pool. We drive them down the street to see a neighbor. We pile in for an evening ride. They’re parked in our driveways and woven into the way we live.

And I kept coming back to one simple thought:

Why shouldn’t they have a little more personality too?

The next generation

That idea became Cart Couture.

What makes the story even more special to me is that it didn’t stop with my mother or with me.

Today, I get to run Cart Couture alongside my daughter, Louise. She brings her own eye, her own ideas, and her own sense of style to the business, and there’s something really meaningful about watching this little idea become part of another generation.

Made to be seen

A little nostalgia. A whole lot of personality.

You can see pieces of that story in everything we create: crisp stripes, scalloped edges, fringe, unexpected color combinations, and details that make you stop and look twice.

There’s a little nostalgia in what we do, but we’re not trying to recreate the past. We’re taking what we loved about it and making it feel fresh again.

At its heart, Cart Couture is about making ordinary things feel a little more special.

And I happen to think your golf cart is a pretty good place to start.

Made to Be Seen. Ride Happy.
